Adding & Managing Services

Create your service menu, set durations, and control what customers can book.

Adding a Service

  1. Go to Dashboard → Services

  2. Click Add Service

  3. Fill in the details:

    • Name — what the customer sees (e.g., "Full Service", "Consultation")
    • Duration — how long the appointment lasts (15 min to 4 hours)
    • Description — optional, shown on the booking page
    • Active — toggle off to temporarily hide a service from the booking page
  4. Click Save

Editing a Service

Click any service in the list to edit its name, duration, or description. Changes take effect immediately on your booking page.

Deactivating a Service

Toggle the Active switch off. The service will no longer appear on your booking page, but existing bookings for it are not affected.

Deleting a Service

Click the service, then Delete. This removes the service permanently. Existing bookings linked to the deleted service will show the service name but it cannot be re-booked.

Assigning Services to Staff

By default, all active staff can be booked for all services. To restrict a service to specific staff members:

  1. Go to Dashboard → Services
  2. Click the service
  3. Under Staff Assignments, select which staff members can perform this service

Customers will only see available time slots for assigned staff when booking that service.

Tips

  • Keep service names short and clear — customers see them on mobile
  • Use descriptions for details like "includes wash and blowdry"
  • Group related services with consistent naming (e.g., "Haircut — Men", "Haircut — Women")
