Staff Scheduling

Manage staff availability, weekly schedules, exceptions, and assignments.

Inviting Staff

  1. Go to Dashboard → Staff
  2. Click Invite Staff Member
  3. Enter their email address
  4. They'll receive an invitation email with a link to accept

Once they accept, they appear in your staff list and can be assigned to services.

Setting Weekly Availability

Each staff member has a weekly schedule that repeats every week.

  1. Go to Dashboard → Staff and click a staff member
  2. Set their working hours for each day of the week
  3. Click Save

Customers can only book time slots within the staff member's available hours.

Adding Exceptions

Exceptions override the weekly schedule for specific dates — holidays, sick days, or extended hours.

  1. On the staff member's page, click Add Exception
  2. Choose the date
  3. Either mark the day as Unavailable or set custom hours for that date
  4. Click Save

Exceptions take priority over the weekly schedule.

Staff View vs Admin View

  • Staff members see only their own schedule, bookings, and availability
  • Admin/owner sees all staff schedules, all bookings, and can manage everything

Staff log in with their own email and see a simplified dashboard.

Capacity Limits

Reserv.Now enforces server-side capacity limits. If a staff member is already booked for a time slot, that slot is automatically removed from the booking page. No double-booking is possible.
